Seven Bar North HOA, 2004

After years of neglect by another service contractor, Heads Up began an intensive program to restore the Seven Bar North neighborhood’s xeriscape in the autumn of 2004.

Weed growth was dense and plants had been allowed to grow over sidewalks throughout the property. Starting immediately, Heads Up began cutting back most everything to the ground, continuing this process during the winter months.

In the spring, it was painfully obvious that weeds would be the major issue, as the growth exploded everywhere. Heads Up worked with the HOA to develop a resident notification system for spray events through advance signage on the property. Through a continued combination of spray application and diligent hand pulling, Heads Up technicians made great progress. It is through the concerted effort by the spray technicians, irrigation technicians, crew leaders and field supervisors that Heads Up has been able to succeed.

Heads Up has developed a quality relationship with the HOA. Bi-weekly meetings with the client and the property management company have enabled us to stay ahead of major issues, and Heads Up is Seven Bar North’s first resource for tree replacement, storm damage repairs, advice on plant material, etc.

Once a property with major landscape issues, Seven Bar North HOA and its residents are now pleased with and proud of the way their neighborhood looks.
